Lucy Phone case

This is my Iphone 6 case, I created it on tinker cad so I can print it using a 3D printer. To make We learnt about Chamfer & Fillet. Fillet is when there is a round edge & Chamfer is a straight cornered\ edge. This case took me 3 days to make. We had to get a Box/Square, Flatten it down & make it long Then we had to make the edges round, Using a shape we found. Once we did that we made the shapes hole. After that we clicked on the whole thing and grouped it. Once I did that I Ungrouped it so i could add the holes On the side and for the camera. After that is made, I made the hole so it actually fits the phone in. The trickiest part was when I made the square/box round, I had to find the shape and twist it & turn it around. The easy bit was when I had to group it Cause all I had to do was press a button on the screen . If I made another one I would make another phone case that was pink because it was really fun to make. I would I haven’t printed it out yet but I’m planning to. I hope you like it

Tuvalu

This week we have been learning about different countries for Reading & maths, Mrs P chose a country for each reading group I got Tuvalu. In Maths we had to learn how to count in the same language. I hope you like it

Easter

Last Week it was Diwali, Mr T had decided that we should make a presentation about it, He put the name of holidays on the board There was Easter, Christmas & so much more I choose Easter. We had to think of Questions then present it on Friday. I hope you enjoy

Maori Dice

For Maori Language week, I created a game and dice that has the numbers all in maori. I made a template that can be used all the time. All you will have to do is print it out and fold it to make a dice.

Warren Pohatu Art

In room 7 we have been learning about Land, Sea & sky. Mrs P showed us a book by Warren Pohatu, It had lots of Maori animal art. And yes you guessed it we had to try & do this Art. I chose A Dolphin. We had to make a draft of the art then we did on Black paper with designs in the Background. Hope you enjoy

Nerves

Nerves
 Nerves are like Butterfly,
Twinkling in your tummy.
 It is Bright Electric Orange,
 And Blinds you.
 It happens when you are terrified,
 You feel anxious
 You head is spinning round & round.
Suddenly Out of Control,
Until you get out there.

In Room 7 we have been learning about describing things using Adverbs, Adjectives, Verbs & Onamatoepia. We had to describe how we felt at Cross Country, Were we Nervous, Excited or angry.
The other thing we could describe was a animal that we saw at the Zoo. I decided to describe Nerves. I hope you enjoy & get some ideas for your writing.

3D Printing

Last Week we had people come in to teach us about 3D printing. They taught us How to make Holes in our design, How to Connect them & more. The first one I made was a name tag the one I made today (Monday 7th August 2017) was a Bunny. 3D printing is basically printing plastic. You can do any colour (It has to be in the Machine though) I hope you enjoy

Spiders

Our Topic is about Land, Sea & Sky and this Presentation is about Spiders, In the senior school we have been doing Topic Rotation. Topic Rotation is when you go to all of the classes in the senior school & learn about different things. In room 4 we were learning about Spiders, We learned about all of the different body parts & the Special features. I did the Presentation with my Friend Kaia. 3 way Conference

Last night we had 3 way conference and this is the slide that we had to create to share to our parents. 3 way conference is basically a meeting between you, Your teacher & your parent you get to talk about your learning we had to make a presentation to show. Arts through the decades

In room 7 for the last 6 weeks we have been learning about Arts through the decades. Me & my friend Bella decided to make a Mannequin. We learnt a lot about 20's fashion the equipment we needed was Duck tape, (on the website it said that we needed two but we didn't use up 1) Old t-shirt, Dress, Glad wrap, Feathers, A balloon, (for the the head) Ribbon, Beads, Soc-kings, Stuffing, Necklace (Optional), Wig, Skin coloured paint, Sharpies, (to draw the face on the balloon) Hot glue gun & normal sticky tape Hope you enjoy

Maths in Sign Language

In Room 7 we have been learning about Sign Language because it was Sign Language week in New Zealand. Sign Language is a Language used to Communicate with def people.
